- Negotiate and obtain quotes from Removal Companies - check their contracts, insurance cover and references. Work with them to ensure the most efficient systems for relocating your particular business.
- Arrange with client's Insurance Company to make sure the right transit insurance is put in place. Make sure insurance is transferred over for new location.
- Liaise with computer & other relevant technicians as to what is required before packing computers, faxes, printers etc and make sure all requirements to install these in the new location are dealt with.
- Label workstations/offices for packing and transfer to corresponding workstations/offices at new premises.
- Adhere to lease requirements for vacating the old premises and moving into the new.
- Liaise with utility companies for transfer and connection at new premises. Organize new billing address.
- Contact all companies that the client is leasing equipment from, or that they have contracts with, and carry out their requirements for relocating this equipment.
- Ensure management and employees have a checklist before moving.
- Arrange for keys to be cut and in the hands of management and employees that require them.
- Check all utilities are on and working at new location before moving.
- Organize cleaners at both locations.
